Our Mission:

Finding our place in God's Story

Casual seekers ask, "How will God fit into my story?" Believers ask, "How can I fit into His story?" In John 10:10, the Lord tells us, "The thief comes only to steal, kill, and destroy. I have come that men might have life in all its fullness." The enemy of our souls tries to get us to worship anything or anyone except God. In this way, he seeks to steal our youth, kill our joy, and destroy our glory. God our Father wants us to live, move, and breathe His grace and mercy, assured of our identity as His sons and daughters, heirs of His glory. When we learn God's story, see who He is, and who we are to Him, we discover the meaning of "life in all its fullness." And the best part is: His story has no end!

yOur Role in the story

There is one thing in life that matters most: that you find your place in God's story and your role in His kingdom. This begins with a decision to accept the free gift of Christ's death in your place on the cross and His invitation to a new life in Him. Have you made this decision? If you have any questions about what it means to accept Christ's invitation, feel free to ask the Pastor or another church leader. Please don't postpone the most important decision of your life!

Your new life

Once you have accepted Christ's invitation, a new life unfolds, and you realize that you are not alone! You are a member of a family. Imperfect as this family is, there is fellowship, comfort, laughter, and lots of help in its midst. This family is so much bigger than Vineyard Church of Knox County, and there are many church communities to choose from. However, if you are looking for a group of people who want to celebrate God's presence, study His Word, care for and honor one another, and reach out to the surrounding community, you might be home.

Please let us know if we can pray alongside you or answer any questions you have.
